So I recorded this song last night because it felt like a good way to leave everything bad that happened last year behind and I felt it more reflected how I feel going into the new year. (I had written plenty of dark songs in the past few months, but I really don’t want to record them–better to embrace what’s new and move forward.) I hope everyone else shares this feeling as we enter 2019! Happy New Years all! Also, this is the first time I’ve recorded anything using my new classical guitar (Cordoba C5) and am kind of digging the mellower sound!
